Rider Mindset
The rider's mindset is crucial in horse riding because it directly affects communication, trust, and harmony between rider and horse. A calm, focused, and confident mindset helps establish clear communication and leadership, leading to better control and a safer, more enjoyable riding experience for both horse and rider.
This can be organised in groups or individually and tailored to your requirements. The mental aspect of riding, training and competing plays a huge part in what a combination can ultimately achieve, particularly as horses are so very sensitive to what you are thinking and feeling. Success begins with your mindset, beliefs and confidence!

Rider Mindset Coaching
Each month we hold Confidence & Cake Clinics at Radley Green Equestrian. These clinics are designed specifically to boost your confidence in riding. There will be a ridden session followed by a confidence-boosting chat with like-minded riderss and of course some tea/coffee and cake!

The session will be at a pace suited to your ability and aimed at building your confidence and your relationship with your horse. Sessions will be held in Radley Green's beautiful indoor school and lessons can be paired or private.

Sessions can develop into poles, jumping, xc, or hacking. If you need any help with anything, there will be people on hand whether it's tacking up, loading or simply getting on!

These are held with Performance Coach Katie Hamilton who has spent years working with riders and using psychology-based techniques to boost confidence.
